Inspired by the authentic and intelligent voices of mothers across blogs and message boards, the founders behind The Motherhood saw a need for a safe place for women to connect, build relationships, share information, and foster active discussions about current media and parenting topics. Blenderbox designed a unique social-networking site- a virtual neighborhood for mothers featuring blogs, conversations, groups, and links- supported by a robust system built on Ruby on Rails with a MySQL backend.
