  08.09.2010  Blenderbox wins IMA Best in Class Award for New Visions Website

  The New Visions Website, under the category 'Arts/Culture', has won the IMA Best in Class Award. The Best in Class award is the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. In order to win this award level, the site had to successfully pass through the comprehensive judging process, achieving very high marks in each of the judging criteria - an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year. About the project: New Visions for Public Schools is committed to sourcing and sharing innovative tools, strategies and lessons learned in New Visions schools with others in New York and throughout the country to prove that meaningful change is achievable at scale and success is possible for every child. Blenderbox worked closely with New Visions to create a redesigned site that builds interest and support while engaging each of their key audiences, while providing access to an open source content management system that helps keep content fresh and relevant across the site.

  The Rockrose Website, under the category 'Real Estate', has won the IMA Outstanding Achievement Award. The Outstanding Achievement award is the second highest honor bestowed by IMA and an extremely challenging award to win. The website excelled in all areas of the judging criteria and represents a very high standard of planning, execution and overall professionalism. About the Project: Rockrose is known as a neighborhood pioneer and is respected as one of New York's premier luxury real estate owner-manager-developers. Blenderbox worked with Rockrose to design and develop the new Rockrose site to showcase the firm's extensive portfolio of residential, commercial and retail properties. Blenderbox also built a custom content management system in Django to allow Rockrose to keep all listings and information current.
