911memorial.org: Newly Architected and Designed

In anticipation of the opening of the National 9/11 Memorial in New York in Sept 2011, Blenderbox worked with the Foundation to re-architect and design the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum website.

Previously, the focus of the site was fundraising, updating site visitors on the Memorial construction progress, and telling the story of the events of September 11, 2001.

With the Memorial set to open, the site has shifted focus to represent the Memorial as a destination and to provide visitors to the Memorial with all the information they need to plan a visit. Additionally, the site serves to allow virtual visitors who will experience the Memorial online, to have an informative and engaging experience. The new site architecture reflects the shift in focus and allows users to get to the information they need, quickly and intuitively.

Blenderbox also designed the mobile version of the website.
