A Flash/HTML hybrid to showcase talented artists and ensembles.
The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation opened its doors to the public in November 2011 with BLDG 92, a new visitors center and exhibition space. As a celebration of the Navy Yard's past, present and Future, the space offers a window into a corner of Brooklyn that has been off-limits to the general public since 1801.
As part of the initiative Blenderbox helped the Navy Yard build a brand around the new Brooklyn destination, creating the BLDG 92 brand identity, visual direction, campaign slogan, marketing strategy, print collateral, brochures, signage, and website.
Built with Django, the BLDG 92 site has already proven essential for not only promoting the exhibitions for the grand opening of the center, but also for providing event and tour information, way-finding, and news and blog updates.
The website features several 3rd party integrations including Eventbrite, Disqus for commenting, Paypal for memberships/Donations, MaiChimp for email marketing and Highrise for customer relationship management.
