Earlier this year, we launched a website devoted to a report underwritten by the Carnegie-IAS Commission concerning the state of STEM (Science, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology) education in the U.S.

The website is called “The Opportunity Equation,” and while we were engaged to architect, design, and build this site, we couldn’t help connecting with the content as we immersed ourselves in the project.

The general theme is troubling. STEM education in this country is lagging behind the rest of the world and dramatic changes will be required in order to change this trend.

This project was an opportunity to take the research and policy initiatives covered by The Opportunity Equation report and help to contextualize and visualize them to make them clear and accessible to their primary audience, policymakers and their staff.

This is our core competency, and it’s our mission to apply this core competency to projects we can feel good about that make the world a better place.

Great adaptation of a text only document! This site was really interesting and would definitely keep the target audience coming back. Easy to navigate and well written - great job! WebAwards Judging Panel
