Educating visitors outside the museum walls.
Founded in 1913 by John D. Rockefeller, Sr., the Rockefeller Foundation aims to promote the well-being of humanity by identifying and attacking at their source the underlying causes of human suffering.
Before beginning the redesign of their public-facing website, Blenderbox undertook a comprehensive round of discovery and user interviews in order to better understand the Foundation's core organizational values and the ways in which their users would interact with their content.
Armed with the information gleaned from the discovery phase, Blenderbox designed a next generation web site for the Rockefeller Foundation that allows its audience to approach and interact with their content through one of three dimensions: issue areas, initiatives, and geography.
In addition to a sleek and well-organized front-end design, Blenderbox also provided the Foundation with a flexible suite of custom content management tools to allow them to keep the site's content fresh and relevant.
